Hello @regor,
regor can I use Nginx on a different port, since port 80 is usually used by Apache?
Yes, of course. Bacularis by default is available on port 9097
, but if you need you can change it. Port can be changed directly on the web interface on the Application settings
page (under the gearwheel icon at the top left side of the web interface) or you can change it manually in the web server configuration file.
regor can I use the Apache that's already installed?
Yes, you can. In this case besides bacularis
package you need to install bacularis-apache2
for deb-based systems (or bacularis-httpd
on rpm-based systems).
regor Can I install on older versions of Debian, such as Debian 8?
Not using binary packages because we do not provide packages for Debian 8, but if your Debian 8 fullfills Bacularis requirements ( https://bacularis.app/doc/brief/installation.html#requirements ) you can use manual installation method.
