Bacularis Schedule settings

I want to add Schedule to the Clients I added to Bacularis, I deleted these settings before because the system took backup with default schedule, but now I can't add it. How can I do this (I have 18 clients, do I need to add them one by one)

Hi @methsploit,

If it is the same Schedule that you want to add to 18 clients, then you can use the Bacularis pattern function for that. The configs and patterns function has been designed exactly for this type of purpose, to automate repeatable tasks realized on the Bacula configuration. This way you can create one pattern with this one Schedule and after you can apply it on those 18 Bacula clients.

So how can I edit the Schedule setting of a single client?

Hi @methsploit,

The client schedule is located here:

[Main menu] => [Page: Clients] => [Button: Details - for selected client] => [Tab: Configure file daemon] => [SubTab: Schedule]

You can apply there the pattern on the clients configuration.

Bacularis needs to be installed/deployed on the remove clients to be able manage the remote configuration.

Please note that it is not schedule to run backup but to connect the client to director. The schedules to run backup you can find in the director configuration. You wrote that you want to add schedule to clients so I hope I understood you well and that you want to configure schedule to connect to director.
