Feature Request: Enable Encryption of Backups Prior to Storage

I would like to inquire whether the current backup system supports encrypting backups before they are stored. If not, I suggest considering the implementation of this feature.

Thank you for reporting your feature request.

This feature already exists in Bacula. This is the data encryption on the Bacula Client side. The data is encrypted on the Client before sending it to the Storage Daemon. All technical details about it you can find in the Bacula documentation:

In Bacularis all the data encryption directives are possible to configure on the web interface.
