The problem with mounting the storage

Good afternoon. I have a problem where, after rebooting the virtual machine where bacula is installed, the NAS folder is mounted and I'm placing copies there. I'm mounting the folder using cifs, and it worked yesterday, but when I rebooted the machine, now when bacula wants to perform a task and asks me to create a volume, it says access denied when I try to create the volume, even though I've set the folder permissions to 777 and the file permissions to 644, and I've set the read and write mode.

Could you provide us output from the following two commands executed on the storage daemon host?

ps -o user,group,comm -C bacula-sd

ls -la /mnt/backup

Also worth to know is what operating system are you using on the SD host?

Is there any special reason that you use the www-data group for the volumes? Bacularis does not need it because all Bacularis actions on volumes are realized by the storage daemon, not directly. So, if the storage daemon user:group are bacula:tape then I would propose to use it for the /mnt/backup directory and existing volumes inside it:

chown -R bacula:tape /mnt/backup

If it will not help, also worth to check is the SELinux status if you use a system with the SELinux support.

getenforce

and the audit.log if there are any permission errors:

/var/log/audit/audit.log
